Food Drive at Hanover Area Jaycees Halloween Parade

In conjunction with this year’s Hanover Area Jaycees Halloween Parade on Thursday, October 29, 2015, New Hope Ministries will hold a food drive collection along the parade route before and during the event.  Spectators are encouraged to bring a donation of non-perishable food items to one of the several drop-off sites located in downtown Hanover which will be manned by New Hope volunteers.

In addition to its Hanover Center at 135 Baltimore Street, drop-off locations along the parade route include: Robert’s York County Choppers, Hair Hut, Hanover Lube and Brake Center, Alliance Garage Doors, St Joseph Catholic School (Thrift shop), M & T Bank, Clarks Bostonian Outlet, Young Manor, Residence of Hanover Shoe, and Guthrie Memorial Library.

Most needed items include canned fruit, cereal, canned meats, peanut butter, spaghetti sauce, pasta, fruit juices, box meals (mac & cheese, helpers, etc.), and personal care items (shampoo, soap, etc.).
